Frankie and Jana

My favorite food is french fries, but not just any french fries, it's the french fries at Jota Cruz, a Restaurant in Valparaíso. The french fries there are very cheap and also very good, they are made out of real potatoes, they're not not the frozen pre-cooked kind of french fries.  Also, the portions are extremely big, and the fry them until they're crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way I like them. I don't really like cooking in general, but I like to cook when there is someone to cook with. Specifically, I like to cook pasta with tomato sauce, not only because it's easy, but also because I know how to make make a very tasty tomato sauce. When I'm at University, I usually buy my food from the street vendors outside, my favorite food from there is vegetarian ramen. My favorite restaurant is a place called Mini Sheraton, in Rancagua, all the food they serve is really good, and I have many nice memories there with my family.

The name of my favorite class is "Estética Cinematográfica". We used to watch differents movies in class and the we had to analyze the aesthetic aspects of those movies. We usually had class discussions like debates, and everyone would comment about different things they thought were interesting about the movie we watched each class. Some of the main contents of the class were cinematographic styles of different parts of the world, aspects like lighting, colors, camerawork, and the rhythm of the film were important elements of the class. We analyzed Russian, Japanese, European, and Latin american films and the things that made them special. I liked the Japanese films the most, I remember watching "Dreams" by Akira Kurosawa and immediately falling in love with it. I even stayed after the class had ended to discuss the movie with my profesor, who was surprised that the movie had such a great impact on me.
